I was born and raised in Cleveland — go Tribe! After 20 years in Louisville, KY, we moved to the SC coast. My bachelor’s degree in English and history, and my master’s degree in political science, are both from Case Western Reserve University.

After a decade of working in public relations and communications at my alma mater, I spent 20 years in the quality auditing department of a health insurance company.
